When you run a usability test, you usually need to interview your users as well watching what they do with your product. This course concentrates on the practical skill of interviewing within the context of a usability test.

This workshop-oriented course is based on interactive exercises that focus on these aspects of interviewing for usability testing:

  • basic questioning and listening
  • the purposes of interviewing
  • planning and preparing to interview
  • participants and their behaviours
